HUM is a 2D poetic musical experience with a focus on exploration, joy, and discovery.
Player “Spark” (white) with 3 companions: Fire, Water, and Wind
Water Titan and Companion in their starting state.
Randomly encountering the water titan. Light blue components were added as the player progressed throughout the game.
Games initial state accompined with vibrant music.
Main Menu. From here you can see the cool desolate silent space outside the “universal song” area where the player starts.
Windmill object activated by sailing through it with the wind companion.
Fire Mechanic 1: Discover fire objects in the dark.
Fire Mechanic 2: Ignite the fire objects to create a chain reaction.
Water Mechanic 1: Flowing water arms branch off the player with a bias toward the direction they are pointing the right stick. The Water Companion is used to indicate that direction.
